C.U.L MISSION

Since the last seven years we have seen the shift from the old conventional gyming culture, to more young adults looking for an alternative fitness activity in order to keep their fitness journey exciting. This change in consumer behaviour as a result has seen a rise in an overwhelming interest being directed towards calisthenics especially in the U.K.
We plan to elevate the U.K calisthenics industry by partnering up with private investors as well as commercial sports brands to create a chief platform that delivers unique quality calisthenics events, in order to facilitate the ever growing industry.

What It Takes To Be A Calisthenic Athlete?

Calisthenic Athletes dedicate a lot of time to achieve the level of strength and skills they possess. Calisthenics is broken down to 2 main Subcategories.

DYNAMICS

Dynamics in Calisthenics is an Electrifying Display of Power, Agility, Courage, Acrobats and Expert level of Technique. This is normally performed on a High bar, parallel bars and on the ground. Athletes aspire to show a variety of creative combos whilst being able to entertain the crowd with style and stage personality. 
The prerequisites for a Semi pro athlete are to have mastered the majority of the following:
All Variations of 360, Shrimp Flip, Switchblade, Barhop, Ally-hoop, Bar rolls, Geinger, Basic Level Dismounts (Flyaway)

STATICS

Statics in Calisthenics is the display of Sheer Strength, Flexibility, Balance with Refined Technique. These moves consist of static holds for at least 3 seconds, e.g handstands, L-Sits. These can also be performed on the high bar, parallel bars or the ground. Athletes must hold these moves for at least 3 seconds or may be penalised on there total scoring.
The prerequisites for a Semi Pro Calisthenic Athlete are to have mastered the majority of the following:
Ground Handstands, High bar Handstands, L-Sits, Front Lever, Back Lever,  Straddle Planche.
